Are you looking for support for your practice?

Here are several free, IMCW-sponsored programs that are designed to help you on the path that we encourage you to explore.

True Refuge Companions

There are many instances in life when you might really need and appreciate a supportive presence—such as when you are grieving, ill, or caregiving; when you’ve experienced a traumatic loss, or are in the process of divorce or the death of a family member, for example.

This program matches trained and experienced meditators with you to support your practice and be by your side as a spiritual friend. This service is freely provided and readily available through a simple application.

Mentoring Program

Experienced meditation practitioners can help you enrich and deepen your practice, and navigate the challenges that naturally arise.

Whether you’re new to meditation or have been practicing regularly for a while, you may find working with a mentor to be welcome support on the path. This program is also freely offered.

Spiritual Friends Groups

Spiritual Friends—“Kalyana Mitta” in Pali— consist of six to twelve meditators who are committed to meeting regularly in peer-led groups over an extended period of time. Supporting one another as they explore the practice of the dharma in their daily lives, KM groups encourage closeness, sharing, and an experience of the heart of the dharma.
